We really did not expect to fall in love with such a LARGE dog. However, our dog Jack picked Gulliver out of many choices and our fate was sealed, fortunately for us Jack was wiser than we were. Gulliver is blossoming into an amazing young man. He walks without a leash, following Jack and us on long walks, he is steadily gaining weight and learning his commands. He has even made 2 appearances at C.C. Young Retirement Village and they love him! We cannot go out in public without people commenting on what a handsome dog he is.

Also, for those thinking of adoption please do so! Heartworm positive? Who cares! Gulliver was and is now healthy as a horse! Treatment is much, much easier these days.
Update on Gulliver! Today at the vet he weighed in at 105 lbs, 32 lbs more than when he was rescued! This will be his topped out weight as he is on the smaller side for a Saint mix. He has found new friends all over the neighborhood, both 4 and 2 legged ones. He enjoys his Sunday "tour" where we walk the 'hood without a leash and he can socialize with both man and beast!
